No. There is no entrance examination for NRIs/PIOs and OCIs and foreign candidates. Undergraduate Admissions are based on merit as per the grades/ marks obtained in physics, chemistry, and biology/mathematics in the 10+2 or equivalent examination and on a first come first serve basis, provided the student meets the eligibility requirements.
The foreign national must possess a Student Visa, while the PIO/OCI must have a specific status category.
Yes, you are allowed to do it, but not during class hours, practical hours, lab sessions, or exam hours.
